Fall Semester 2020-2021

We begin the 2020-21 school year in an unprecedented way—including new health protocols, physical distancing, and more.  Students will still be learning 5 days a week. Our Mayor, Governor, and Schools Chancellor announced schools to partially open in September.

Remote learning is a strategy for learning continuity for extended time away from school. It is an opportunity to engage in learning remotely instead of attending school onsite when schools are closed.

This upcoming school year families have the option and decision to make between 100% remote learning and blending learning which is 2 or 3 days in the school building and the rest of the week in remote learning.

Things to do before the first day of school:

  1. Click here if you like to opt your child into 100% Remote Learning for this upcoming school year.
  2. All families should ensure their child has activated their new DOE email addresses. Students can do so by clicking on the Student Account Self Service link and entering their 9-digit Student ID (OSIS) number and birthday information.
  3. You can find your child’s supply list and summer reading assignments below.
  4.  We also highly encourage families to check out https://www.schools.nyc.gov/school-year-20-21/return-to-school-2020 for further information about NYC new health policies, DOE plan to return to school, letters from the chancellor, and more.
