Ilana Gutman
English Teacher
Ilana was born and raised in Long Island, NY. She started working with children when she was 14 years old at the local JCC. It was while volunteering that she developed a passion for working with children. She has worked with children ranging from three years old to 15 years old and spent many summers as a camp counselor. Ilana earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Long Island University and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Queens College. She immediately began her teaching career within the Queens community. Ilana is an avid tennis fan and sun chaser. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
