Hannah Brenman
History Teacher
Hannah is excited to join the MELS team after beginning her teaching career teaching American history, economics, and government at another Expeditionary Learning school in Chelsea. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Hannah moved to New York to attend Barnard College where she majored in History and Education. Hannah has worked with students ages eighteen months to twenty-one years in a variety of settings including school, after-school programs, tutoring, camp and many more. Though Hannah always knew she wanted to become a teacher, spending her summers at the camp in Georgia where she grew up solidified this drive. Hannah enjoys incorporating the energy of camp into her classroom at MELS.
