Aileen Torres was born in Hells Kitchen, NYC. She grew up in a household with two parents, 3 siblings, and two cousins. Aileen attended Columbia University, but completed her bachelor’s degree in Theological Studies at Nyack College. Aileen had the opportunity to travel to Israel and study under both Jewish and Christian scholars. She was offered twice but declined a scholarship to pursue a master’s in Ancient Judaism and Christian Origins.
Aileen’s family is from Puerto Rico. She enjoys all the food, music, and traditions of the island and loves to share her culture with friends through her cooking and baking.
Aileen has been married to her husband Daniel Torres for 23 years and together they have two daughters named Madison and Sydney
