Milreyly is a New York resident raised in the heart of Queens. In high school, she participated on the basketball, volleyball and handball team. As an undergraduate, she studied physical education at York College. During this time with the NFL’s Jay Feidler as her mentor, she developed her sport and recreational teaching knowledge. She created a summer camp curriculum tailored to improve motor skills and athletic capabilities of children with diverse needs. Although the experience was great, she realized her need to work in a school. Milreyly decided to pursue a Masters in Exercise Science at Queens College, where she learned to implement efficient teaching strategies in her curriculum. Outside of her professional life, Milreyly enjoys donating time to organizations, going to the theater, and traveling and appreciating the great outdoors. She is humbled to be part of the MELS community and looks forward to being part of the 9th grade team!
